This is particularly important because the height of the sofa can be very dangerous for small decorative dog breeds (Toy Terrier, Pomeranian, Chihuahua, Yorkshire terrier, Italian Greyhound, Dachshund, etc.). The bones of small dogs and puppies are very fragile, so sofa jumps can cause dislocations and fractures. The total height of each of our dog steps and stairs is 36 cm, the total weight is 40 cm, the height of one step is 12 cm, and its depth is 18 cm.
Our dog steps for bed don’t have a rigid base (wood, plastic, metal). Instead, we use foam rubber as a filler, which eliminates the risk of injury to both dogs and their owners. Dog stairs by Haustier are easy to care for since a removable cover is washable. Besides, you can always buy an additional cover.
Сlimbing difficulties are common not only for small dogs but also for bigger pets such as Pugs, French Bulldogs, and especially Dachshunds that are not recommended to jump at all since they can injure their back.
